Baby Love - 28 weeks!

Baby is the size of an eggplant!  At week 28, Charlotte is putting on layers of fat at still weighs somewhere between 1.5 and 2.2 pounds.  She measures around 13.6 to 14.8 inches.  Her skin has a smoother and less wrinkled appearance too.  And her lungs are mature enough that she could probably breathe on her own if she were born prematurely.  Plus, her eyes, which can now open and close, can sense changes to light as well.  The groundwork her vision has been laid, but baby's sight will actually continue to develop during infancy after she's born.  Still, those blinking peepers are something to get excited over!

How far along? 28 weeks
Total weight gain:  up 14.5 lbs.
Maternity clothes?  Every day!
Stretch marks?  No.
Sleep:  Lovely!
Best moment this week:  I am not sure anything every exciting has happened this week.  In fact...I can't believe another week has already passed!
Miss anything?  Nothing really this week.
Movement:  Yes!
Food cravings:  Chinese food
Anything making you queasy or sick:  Nope!
Gender:  Sweet Charlotte Faye.
Labor Signs:  No.
Symptoms:  Round ligament pain, lower back pain, Braxton Hicks, Leg Cramps, Rib pain
Belly Button in or out?  In, but just barely.
Wedding rings on or off?  On
Happy or Moody most of the time:  Happy
Looking forward to:  The arrive of my newest nephew, K, on Monday!

27 and a half weeks!  Headed out to Decoration at Pope Cemetery.
