Meeting the Family

Our hospital has a policy that only children over the age of twelve are allowed back into the labor and delivery or post partum rooms unless they are siblings of the newborn.  So, our niece and nephews couldn't meet Charlotte until we came home.

Our sweet little nephew, L, who will be three next month, has waited and waited to meet his Baby Charlotte.  He was actually spending the night with Gigi and Pawpaw (J's parents) when I went into labor.  Poor little guy spent hours in the waiting room waiting for Baby Charlotte and then couldn't even go back to see her.

He was very excited to meet her this past weekend.

Our niece, Miss D (20 months), simply adores J.  When my sister showed her pictures of Charlotte, she told her that was J's little girl.  Miss D said "No, I J's girl."  It should be interesting as she tries to understand what's going on.

Charlotte is so very lucky to have wonderful aunts and uncles who love her already.  They have said many prayers for this precious girl.  They couldn't wait to love on her once she arrived!!
