Baby Love - 37 weeks!

Baby is the size of a winter melon!  {What in the world is a winter melon?!}  Yay!  Baby has reached full term.  She likely measures around 18.9 to 20.9 inches and weighs about 6.2 to 9.2 pounds {She weighed approximately 6lbs 11oz last Friday.}  She's gaining about a 1/2 ounce each day {So, maybe 6lbs 14oz today?}  During week 37, baby's practicing some skills:  inhaling, exhaling, sucking, gripping, and blinking.  She's also getting her first sticky poop, called meconium, ready for her first diaper!

16 and a half weeks.  26 and a half weeks.  36 and a half weeks.  Grow, Baby, Grow!

How far along? 37 weeks - We made it to term!!  Charlotte, we are ready for you to come!
Total weight gain:  up 22.5 lbs (All that swelling from last week has significantly decreased!)
Maternity clothes?  Every day!
Stretch marks?  Yes
Sleep:  I have had some bad nights...but last night was FABULOUS!
Best moment this week:  I went to a great shower for my dear friend on Saturday.  Baby Charlotte is excited for her new friend Miss E to get here!!  (Also, sleeping for twelve hours last night was pretty nice.  Go ahead a judge me...)
Miss anything?  A little...
Movement:  Yes
Food cravings:  Ice water.
Anything making you queasy or sick:  Nope!
Gender:  Sweet Charlotte Faye.
Labor Signs:  Lots of contractions but no progression.
Symptoms:  Round ligament pain, Braxton Hicks, back pain, Braxton Hicks, Leg Cramps, Braxton Hicks, Rib pain, Braxton Hicks...
Belly Button in or out?  I am going to call it an outie.
Wedding rings on or off?  On in the mornings.  Off if I get too hot throughout the day.
Happy or Moody most of the time:  Happy
Looking forward to:  Getting my hair done tomorrow and hoping for some progress at my next appointment.
